Cardigans
As I had a little time on my hands, I decided to look once more for what I believe is or was called the Brooks Brothers Office Cardigan...basically, as far as I can recall from my one glimpse of it on another blog sometime last year, a blue knitted jacket/blazer or a rever collared cardigan with flap pockets in a fine, possibly jersey knit. I have once again come up blank. During a recent similar search I did come across a Scottish Company or two of which produce beautiful shawl collared double knit cardies of the sort seen above (actually a scan from a vintage knitting pattern).
White of Hawick produce the Lord (which sadly doesn't feature the knitted visage of the risen Christ on it anywhere. I believe they were thinking more aristocratic Lord than Lord of Hosts).

William Lockie, also of Hawick, produce this lovely camelhair

Still no sign of the fabled BB cardie though. Bah!
