It's really quiet in the office and I'm not feeling well. I'm Fed Up!Been randomly searching blogs for something salacious. I'm frankly amazed that there are no blogs devoted to public nudity or unusual sex acts. In fact I'm rather disappointed. Perhaps that kind of activity is frowned upon, I don't know....I've never bothered reading the rules. Certainly theres a general lack of nudity on any of the sites I've visited. Bah!

Last night I watched the peleton climb to Hautacam. The expected (by whom I'm not sure) fireworks did not appear. I can't say I expected them to. Frank Schleck did well to get away but Sastre was unable to follow him leaving the Champion of Luxemberg struggling to hold on in the face of repeated attacks from the two Saunier Duval riders. Finally he missed the Yellow by just one second. What a choker! Who the press were expecting to launch I can't say, none of the current crop of team leaders has a record of attacking. Last year Evans followed wheels no matter what happened and this year appears no different. Sastre is incapable of attacking. Valverde and Cunego both fell away - their challenge is over. Ricco couldn't attack yesterday for fear of towing Evans up to his two teammates but he at least looked as though he could and would given the right circumstance. Christian Vandevelder followed and looked comfortable but I don't think it'll be his year. Unless he falls off the Peleton are handing yellow to Evans. Whether he deserves it is another matter. He seems to lack the killer instinct.

There will be discussion of Team CSC's tactics and whether they should've waited till the final climb to drive the lead group but big Jens Voigt worked on the valley road like a man possessed in order to keep the big names from coming back. It's difficult to see what else they could have done. It's a shame that Sastre seems incapable of making a challenge - his team buried themselves yesterday yet he did nothing. Same thing with Menchov although he was isolated at least, that's some kind of an excuse for not attacking - he'd no support. Still, Menchov just hasn't got what it takes in my view. Last year he was destroyed by Rasmussen, a man at least nominally his domestique!

So, it's back to the WWW for me and attempts to find images of a pornographic nature which can make it past the firewall here.
